The finish really catches the light!!!
It is also very useful to show the Gold and Silver finishes used by Deumer, quite different to those used by S&L!!!

Hi,

Deumer made & used 2 Pilot dies before & during the war: early thin pattern shown at left and the later more massive badge at right. They also used Juncker parts however to the best of my knowledge Deumer never produced Pilot Observers using their own dies during the war, they only made POs using Juncker dies/components. The badge in the OP would be a new 57er die IMO. Is there a matching pilot of this variant?
