What a great KVK...and great photo's too!!!
The piece is full of character, and has a super look to it!!!
I love these early Deumer KVK1's, they are a good link between wartime and 57er decorations....
It is in typical condition for these crosses, with the wartime zinc body losing its silver finish, while the postwar central disc retains it!
The case looks like a wartime leftover too, with a newer layer of paper on the top, covering the original top.....
A really nice set Maciej, thanks for sharing it with us!!!!!!

there is no newer layer of paper on the top - that's a wartime case.

I did say it was a wartime leftover, on several of mine there is a newer, postwar added layer of paper, on this one it might just be the light and shade that made it look like an edge to the paper......

I don't think you are alone in not owning one Mathijs??
The KVK's don't seem to be as popular with collectors as the EK's, that is probably true of all the series, including the RK to the KVK....
It is a shame really, as they are really nice decorations, and the earlier made examples are super quality!!

It is true . This year was full of travel. (and this is not the end!)
