    RK KvK-for review

This cross has no pebbling in the central medallion on the reverse, what seems not to be typical for the Knight Crosses. It this still a collectible item or is it just a recently made reproduction?
Thank you in advance for your comments.

Possibly a factory job by Souval ? Looks to be a great and genuine piece, to me.

Now that is a very early, and quite rare piece!!!
One of the postwar S&L's, which originally had a Swastika.....
The Swastika was ground off in the factory, and then the piece was finished to a high standard, giving a very early example of a 57 style KVK RK!!
It has the usual flaw to the pebbling, found on these converted crosses......

      Really nice!!!!!

Certainly a nice Souval as Matthieu says, and the area for the swaz seems to have the same frosting as the rest of the cross. Any silver mark?

No, there is no silver mark.

Just to be clear, this is an S&L not a Souval!!!

Noted Nigel, the thickness threw me. My silver Souval seems thinner through the centre than that. The die flaw sells it though.

What a stunning cross there! One observation is I like how the ribbon was stitched up around the ribbon loop on the reverse, which was a nice touch. Has anyone else seen this on these?

I'm curious what would be a value of a cross like this?
