Here I would like to show you my two War Merit Crosses 1st Class. They seem to be manufactured by S&L. Are they early pieces?

Thank you very much, Nigel, for your expertise. All my 57's came together in three convolutes of pre-1945 medals and award documents. I cannot be 100% sure, if the medals really belonged to the recipient, but I would like to exclude the situation that the 1957-Decorations are the ones made, let's say 5 years ago and therefore do not belong to the sets.
