ISA - S&L early/late

Hi,

These are my two S&L ISA which are normally referred to as early (left) and late (right).If possible I would like to know about which time period these were made and also if there exist even earlier or later S&L ISA as well?

I'd say a very early round wire needle on the left (1957 - 1960/'61(?)) and an early to mid on the right (1960/'61(?) - 1968). Both have a closed hinge block and are therefore made before "1968". Somewhere St&L's third pin-type and double hinge fit in this timeframe as well.

Do a search for ISA or IAB, there should be plenty of threads in this section that show later variants.

Two nice badges!!
The earliest with the thin round pin should date to the earliest period of production...57- 60, while the other, should follow on from the earliest, approx. early to mid 60's!
The third style pin followed this around 1965, and then (still with the third style pin) the catch changed to the thicker type, and the hingeblock also changed to the open type both these occurred around 1968!!
