    EKII on Ratisbons

There's a nice EKII coming up on Ratisbons next auction with a lead seal attached. Is that a mark of authenticity from some renowned medal specialist? I have seen these before but usually attached to high end TR awards like RKs or most recently a 1914 EKI and 1939 Spange combo.

I haven't seen a lead seal on a 57 EK2 before Ray, but it looks like a nice, early S&L!!!

I have been trying to figure out what is actually on the seal. I think it's J.T and 48 something?

Thanks Nigel. Last time I saw one like that it was.on a wartime award authenticated by Adrian Foreman I think. I was wondering if anyone here knows who or what J.T is?

Yes Ray, Forman used a similar lead seal on pieces he had authenticated!
I would guess this on is also from an "expert", dealer or auction house???
