The PAB is a nice early S&L from the 57-60 period, the DRL is also S&L, but harder to date precisely, certainly an early piece, could pre-date the 57ers!
The Luft Flak has a good chance of being a late, but genuine S&L piece, the other badge is a cast fake!

Just for additional info, allow me to add that frustratingly little details are known about the post-war DRL badges (starting with the exact time they first appeared, although it was definitely before the 1957ers).
There are three different general types of these badges. One has a cut-out DRL monogram and a little "peak" behind the bow at the bottom, one has a cut-out monogram and no "peak" and one has a filled-in monogram and no "peak".
The ones with the cut-out monogram come with different pin assemblies, the one with the filled-in monogram only with a "coke bottle" pin (at least I have never seen them with another one).
I think it is fairly safe to assume that the ones with the "peak" (like the specimen seen in the above post) are the earliest type: From a design viewpoint, this element does not make sense. It is obviously a remnant of the Swastika found on the original DRL badge and only there because Third Reich-era dies were re-worked and used to produce these badges. (Seen from the reverse side, the bow looks just like that on the original badge with the Swastika.)Last edited by HPL2008; 02-28-2019, 01:49 PM.
