      It might be a good cross, but to me it has a soft and shiny cast look to it. Especially the „1939“ side is somewhat lacking crisp details.
      Nigel, for what amount did it sell ?

            Pretty much the same as mine!!
            It sold for well under 100 Euro's, and certain parts of it look a little rough, as though it was a casting....But....theres a few features that don't seen to quite match the normal S&L..
            One thing I noticed, is that the sword handles are flat on an S&L, but on this piece they look to come up to a central spine and if it is cast, then I would expect it to be cast from an S&L? The ribbon also looks quite promising??
            I almost risked a bid on it, just to get "hands on"!!!
