Knight's Cross Case - 57'er

Anyone ever seen this type of case before?

The inlay part of the case that holds the cross appears to be more suited to a Knights Cross of the War Merit Cross because of the shape of the opening where the cross sits.

Early case with line around the top and the bevelled bottom.

Haven't seen this before, but I would assume some-one changed the inlay tray to accommodate an RK KvK.
