Looks to be a de-nazified WB to me. Tom

To me, it looks like a 57er that someone has tried to make look like a de-Nazified wartimer?
      A bit like this one......

        Forgot to mention.......
I believe the badge is an S&L, with a variant hardware setup, that we have seen before, though pretty scarce.......

Looking at the wear pattern on this one, compared with the one you showed Andrew, it is possible that it is natural wear, rather than artificial......but I wouldn't like to say for sure!!

I've seen similar hardware on Souval 57er type badges ( I believe it was a KM spange ) ?

Certainly not denazified, no impression of the swaz stamped through the rear of the helmet

                      heya guys

nice badges guys, i see one of the badges had a hard way whit scars of exercise, he had a hard time making pushups to make it that way

around the needle system is pretty interesting, the system is from late ww1 and was widely use up trough the 20-30 mostly on jewelry and broches etc. and it also made its way into ww2 where among those who use this system is Carl Wild from Hamburg on the same type of wounded badges and that goes for both solid and as you can see on the pressesure hollow model too.

So we might add this system to the group of wartime leftover or one of the 1 model too but then well have to see it whit the same system as on my pics below, however the system is controversial because its stripped of design, cheap made and is sadly widely used on fakes too so those who bear this system ill be checking up on the originality and extra time.

here is 2 ww2 pressure models whit the ww2 system, its pretty near the system on your badges
