    Infantry Assault Badge / copy?

    Hello Gents,

This has just arrived, seems a copy to me but again the catch and the pin looks OK.

    Thanks.

Its cast for sure, it is from an S&L original, and the hardware looks pretty close, but as far as I know S&L haven't cast any badges like this, only die struck!
They have however produced cast Oaks in the past!!

To be honest what confusing me is the hardware, it looks "too nice". Most of these die case copies have far worse soldering, in particular at the catch.

Sorry to see its a bad one, hope you get your money back if its sold as original, they look convincingly until you get them in your hand sadly.

here is a original to compare and try to look on the details around the needle.

          hope the bedst

Fakers are going to make 57ers , being as they are going up in value and popularity. An Assault badge being £80 + now!!
            If you’re a faker, it’s a no brainer ☹️
The sad part is, it will now become a growing trend.
