    Am I right saying that this is a nice very early St&L?

    This example is slightly convex.

    Always a pleasure to see such a nice, early EK1!!!!
    You are quite right, its an S&L, and of the very earliest type from the late 50's, with the broad pin, solid hinge-block and thin catch!!
    Super quality too, with a nicely painted core, frosted beading and burnished frame!!!
