      Interesting Ray....thanks for that!!
Looking at the large acorns with no details on the cups, and the quite skinny font style for the numbers, I was thinking Morigi??? But I thought his were all magnetic??? Anyway a fake for me!!!!

        For comparison...a genuine S&L 2nd pattern core........
        Much finer details all round!!!!!

That's a pity. It would make an unusual addition to a 57 RK collection if it were an original.

It would Ray, you are right, but I think we have seen some dubious 57ers from that dealer before!!!

                Austrian Vets Group

The same dealer has listed an interesting group - not really 57ers as such, But I have never seen that first award before. Code: 54354

                  Hi Ray!
That's a nice Austrian Veterans medal bar, although there are no 57ers on it, he had the WW2 commemorative cross, so should have seen some war service.
The first medal is the OKB Bundesverdienstkreuz in Silver, it has unfortunately lost its shield.........

Thanks Nigel, I'm not familiar with that cross. Pity it's damaged.
