    RKT August Grauting pieces on E-bay

    Several pieces attributed to August Grauting (momento mori) are up for sale on E-Bay.de....
    As often happens, the seller has split the pieces!
    For the record, here they are.............
    2nd pattern RK, with mini, in non-standard (or repro) case.......

    His Deumer EK1.............

    This I s an interesting piece, as judging by the photo's, it is one of the few Deumer EK1's that actually used a leftover wartime backplate!!!

      It would be nice if someone could buy all the pieces and keep them together!!

        Some nice items, but accoring to the seller they were bought by the RKT's son as a token of remembrance. August Grauting died in 1941.

        Regards,
        Nick

            Here's the L/11 mark on the EK1........
            It doesn't appear to have the two parallel lines going off to the left of the surrounding box, which is a feature of 57 period made Deumer backplates........

                The medal bar should also have the 4 Year Wehrmacht Long Service Medal (based on the WW2 photo above).

                  @Tom.....E-bay Germany!

                  @Pierce.....I am guessing the family only bought replacements for what they considered the most important awards???

                            He died in 1941 so they are not a grouping

                              OK, a "family purchased grouping" OK
