    3 Place Medalbar

    Hello 57er community

It's been a long time since I collected 57er and posted something here.

Even though I do not collect any 57er anymore, I can not get past them.

But I just could not leave this medalbar.
It is the rest of a group that the seller unfortunately sold separately.
I come too late and so no chance to get the whole group!

Super bar, easy to see why you could not resist it!!!!
The Order of the Crown also looks to be a postwar version, either S&L or Souval, I can't remember without looking!!
Interesting that it is mounted on the blue/yellow & white ribbon which was for service, rather than the blue & red for bravery!
      Great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very nice Romanian Order of the Crown award. I‘m a big fan of all the foreign awards that were produced by S&L and Souval in the postwar period. The Romanian decorations however are really special. The order of Michael the Brave certainly is my favorite of the series though.

          Regards,
          Alex

Fully agree Alex., great series of awards....some beautiful pieces you show there!!!
            I have 2 on medalbars......
This is the Knights class in silver, a wartime original, on red & blue ribbon for bravery.....

And this is the higher Officers class in Gold, postwar Souval I think?
On Blue & yellow ribbon for service......

That wartime commanders is a great piece too!!
I think the enamelled awards by both Romania and Bulgaria are some of the most attractive medals made!!!

At least something they could do! Not good at fighting but their medals are with soul!

                  otherwise beautiful medal bars!
