    Gents,

    I am not sure I have already introduced this EK1 before. I find the frame weird, it is covering the core far more than the usual ST&L examples, is that something unusual?

      Its ok .... modern made St&L pieces "recycle" their frames.
      The front frame here can also be used for an EK2.
      Hence the "o" mark you see on the frame - that's where the loop eye would go.
      Modern made pieces aren't really known for quality, hence the weird look.

      ( also, normally the frame should have the "o" mark on top, might also attribute to its look )
