case for KC wartime or later

Hi!!!
Well, it looks to be a good quality case!!!
It doesn't appear to be a postwar S&L case, as they don't usually have the brass surround to the push button catch, the overall "look" of the case also is different to a 57 associated S&L product!!
My best guess would be a wartimer????
