Last piece of this new collection, what do you think?

Not good I'm afraid .... too many casting marks on the front side.
I would probably categorise this one as more Souval than St&L.
But then probably cast-copy of an Souval ???

Well its certainly cast!!!!
Compare with a Souval clasp (which I believe is or was in Rudy's collection)

I agree, it's a cast production by Souval. But does that make it bad? To a wartime award collector sure, but for a 57-era collector?

Casted or not, I like it. It’s not a reproduction but made this way by Souval. The hardware is good

I have several cast 57ers by Souval, EK2, KVK2, Ost etc.
Austrian vets medalbars are full of them, they aren't the nicest of pieces, but they are genuine Souval products, and are all part of the 57 story for me!!!
