    relatively nice 57er mine Medal Chain, 7 awards... I like these little gems...anyway as always appreciate your thoughts/opinions...see the usual couple have the supposedly S&L "O" marking on the reverse....

            Thanks Jeff (and all)...yes, they are hard to find and unfortunately the Chinese copies are now coming out...have seen some extremely gorgeous ones on the site, so will keep persuing others for sure...it scratches the itch....!!

              Not too many people seem to collect either the chained mini's, or mini-medal bars, both are really nice IMO, and its a shame they seem to be quite neglected!!
              Yours is a fine example, with a nice selection of awards, the "O" mark wasn't used by S&L as a kind of MM, but seemed to be part of the production process they used! No other 57 maker used the same technique, so it is an easy way to ID an S&L piece......!!!!
