From what we can see it seems ok, flat bottomed type, correct for a 2nd pattern, paper covering the case looks a little different, pattern-wise, but that could be the lighting, it makes the whole case look newer than I think it is! At least I hope its the lighting!!!!!!!
A little disappointed with the photo's to be honest, not as thorough as normal, not even one good view of the Oaks!
Would like to see better close-ups of ribbon too!!

I thought the pattern was a little off compared to the 4 cases I have.

The pattern of the case is definitely way off. It is not due to the lighting. I don't like it much since all of my S&L cases don't look like this pattern. I do have a large number of S&L made cases and none matches pattern wise.

There is first core B frame available.

No case.

You can have it for I think 800 Euros.

The material on the case looks like the repo Luftwaffe cases you can get, and the don't look well fretted, so probably late Oaks, his prices are always way off.
If if was a B frame .... maybe!

For me the case is certainly good, but its possible it might be Souval ....
I've owned & handled an exact similar one and was convinced it was period.

It's certainly not a Souval made case either. The case maker that made cases for Souval never used this pattern. The size is also wrong for a Souval case.

Well, from what everyone has said, there seems to be some problems with this set??
I am not 100% convinced on the ribbon, anyone else have any doubts on that, from what we can see??
Can't really say much about the Oaks, not from the pics available.....
And then theres the case......
Agree with Alex, its not IMO a Souval, which pretty much means, its either a genuine S&L with a covering type never before seen, or a repro.....
Too many doubts I think???
