Post a good pics of the Oaks please.

925 stamp is specific to Otto Klein oaks - or copy of Otto Klein oaks
Anyway it looks promising. More better pics !!!

                  Very nice Oaks! Good quality.
The back wire loop looks like a Souval for me. Maybe Alex could confirm that?

Yes, Possible Souval. Not a Klein made set for sure. Tom

I just came from my goldsmith and he told it is Zirkonia.

Not entirely convinced on the diamond oaks / swords - however haven't seen a St&L set yet.

Below the set of diamond OLS found on a postwar Souval / Sedlacek KC ...
Different type of hardware, but very different on the loop wire ....

The RK looks fine, and I like the Diamonds, though having said that, if the same Diamonds were attached to a wartime RK everyone would just scream "fake"......
As they are found with a 57 RK, then we would normally be looking for a set made by one of the 57 makers or maybe Klein, but these don't look like any accepted maker do they???
There is no evidence that S&L or Deumer actually made any Diamonds is there???
I have seen one set that were claimed to be by S&L (and they could have been) but didn't appear to match S&L products in finish or production technique.

Lets not forget, that it is only us, collectors, who judge these pieces in a certain way, to a veteran, the maker of such pieces would probably be of no interest!
Vets wore whatever they liked the look of, if they won the Diamonds and wanted a postwar made replacement set, I think a set like this would be perfectly acceptable !!
