    Interesting 8-place bar

A rather interesting 8-place bar sold at an online auction last night.
It has some interesting and rare Romanian ribbons attached to it - Knights Cross of the Order of Michael the Brave, Knights Cross of the Star of Romania - were rare and highly regarded decorations.
Stangely I've never seen such a configuration before - EK2 ribbon twice ? - representing EK1 and EK2 ? Certainly interesting but not the official way or am I missing something ?

    Regards,
    Alex

    Don't like it much!!!
I know we have seen some variations etc. but 2 EK ribbons??
The KVK2 should be before the long service medals, the foreign awards should be last etc etc
The whole thing is just wrong for me!!!!!!!

Indeed the configuration looks strange with the two EK2 ribbons and the KVK in the back. The way it was put together however doesn't look like the usual newer fake bars we have seen IMO. The folding of the ribbons, the backing looks alright, doesn't it ?

Its certainly not the recent Chinese fakes, nor is it the work of the famous Austrian faker!!
The folding of the ribbons, hardware etc does look ok, not sure if I've seen a backing cloth that has a sawtooth edge top and bottom???
But if the order was correct, I would have no real doubts about the bar!!

I have a feeling that I have seen something like this before where the 2 EK ribbons indicate that the wearer was a recipient of both classes of the Iron Cross? In which case the EK1 would not be worn at the same time.

I am wondering if this was just a ribbonbar, and no medals were ever supposed to be attached to it?
Would explain the 2 EK ribbons, and possibly the 2 blue ribbons aren't for long service medals, but represent war/ qualification badges??
Still should have the foreign awards last though!!!
