It's a real current RK as it is not a silver frame. I talked to a dealer at the SOS who had several of them and he said when he purchased them at S&L's shop he asked why they were not marked 800, and was told the frames are no longer silver. He was selling them for $90.00 each. I wish I had gotten his address. He lives in Frankfurt is all I remember. TomComment

Do you know when he bought the RK's?
The last pricelist I saw from S&L was late 2014, and both Silver and Non-Silver RK's were available then....Silver @70 Euro's, Non-Silver @45 Euro's & the Etui @30 Euro's.

If I remember correctly, I think the same thing happened with Silver Oaks some years ago, but they reappeared for sale sometime later! Maybe they only make a limited number of Silver content pieces in a batch, and when they have sold out, that's it until they make another batch.....that's if they do!!
