    57'er DKiG - a good one?

This is my first foray into 57ers, so I hope it's a good one!

The DKiG measures 64mm across (according to the original wartime regulations they were supposed to be 62mm) and weighs a hefty 79.93g. It has 4 rivets on the rear and a long, thin pin. The red ring is painted rather than enamelled, which I understand means it's a later example. The "starburst" is grey. The box is an obviously unrelated item which came along with it.

    What do you think?

Oh boy, sadly this is a known fake. Already a few of these posted in the "ebay hall of shame" thread.

      Regards,
      Nick

If already bought, ask for a refund my friend.

I still have a spare mid production DKIG should you be interested.

            Regards,
            Nick

I'll swap you for this one

Just kidding, I think I'd better stick to what I know for now! Although I will continue to study 57'ers.

              Cheers!

The lads said it all - this is sadly a modern fake ... you can pick up a good mid-production piece for fairly good money though.
