1957 Ritterkreuz with Oaks and case

I was able to buy this nice worn KC.

I hope it´s all okay with it.
Is the KC a B- or a C- Frame? Does the case fit to the KC?

I would also appreciate your opinion about the oaks and the ribbon.
Please let me know if you need better photos.

Hi Stefan, nice RK, and an interesting set!!!
The RK is a "B" frame, and an earlier one too, the Oaks are copies {presumably)of a wartime set, but that doesn't mean they weren't worn by the vet!!
Ribbon looks ok, and has a typical vets adaptation for easy wearing, and the case also looks good, it appears to have the bevelled edges to the base, which would be correct to match an early RK!
The whole set looks to match and looks like a genuine vet worn set I think??

We need straight on photos of the oaks. Based on these pictures the details look to soft, but they could have potential! As Nigel said: The RK is a nice B-frame and I like the ribbon, too.

Maybe the set was "upgraded", if the oaks are not original. It doesn't seem plausible that a veteran wore a faked set of Godet oakleaves.

I really like the RK the ribbon & the case ! The oaks IMO are fakes of a wartime set. Unless the RK Vet shopped on ebay they were added by the previous owner to up the asking price. Tom
