Looks like ribbon is modern production, but can't tell about the case.

I can't believe the prices of this type have risen so high. I figured they were in the $200 level. I've been wanting one like this to go with my early type. Think I'll put that idea on the back burner.

I think in Europe / UK you would be hard pressed to fine a decent early D frame with OLS FOR £200 , let alone a 70s magnetic core C frame , I have purchased a few 57 crosses over the last 2 years , I admit I was testing the water with my first price ? . However if you can find similar crosses $200 or less I can't understand why you never got one when they where cheaper ? Please send me a link to some of these dealers . best martin .

I think the new price is right in the "strike zone" based upon the current market. The 57er RK with matching OLS at a fair price, sweet! If I did not have one, I would gladly be a buyer!
