Reiter-Abzeichen ...

Quite a long time went by since my last post .... but today my `57er collection grew so there is something to show. Nothing very special, no high end award, but as I understand this Reiter-Abzeichen is not that common ...













The sport badge comes from the same source so it found its way to the pictures too ...

Hello Jens,
the DRL badge is a very early example after the war , the Reiterabzeichen is a quite modern example from S&L.

But I think you know, that both are no 57er badges.

Yes, for sure - from legal side they aren`t `57ers in the true sense. But as they are made after the war not as collectibles but as replacements (...) for the "original" items they are very closed to them ...

Can you tell me the details making the sports badge a very early one ??

The DRL badge is by Deumer, looks to be a 50's , or very early 60's example I would think, the Reiter badge, as already said, is a later S&L piece, but still nice!!
