DKiG - possible Deschler?

what do you think about this german cross in gold?

Is it possilble, that this is a Deschler product?

The quality is really good .

Hi Pattex!
Yes, I would say that was a Deschler, only in better condition than we usually see!
Most Deschler piece (not just DK's) do not seem to keep their finish very well, giving them a poorer look than an S&L or a Deumer, occasionally, as here one can be found that has fared better down the years, and looks now, much as it would have done when new!!
So for me, a rare piece in very rare condition!!!!

Thank you very much, but why should Deschler only made the german cross?

Or do you know other 57er pieces by Deschler?

Hi Pattex!!
As well as the DK, Deschler made EK1 & 2, KVK1 & 2, those are for sure!
I think they may also have made the Ostmedaille, and there is an unknown maker Life Saving Medal, that may well be Deschler too!
There is at least a Black Wound Badge known, probably other pieces waiting to be discovered, they are rare so don't turn up very often!
I have a few, most are in this group pic.......


If you enter "Deschler" into the search function, threads covering most of the known Deschler pieces should show up!!
