Hi Dave! Firstly let me say, I have never seen this type before, but despite that I think it is a fake?
The only maker we are sure of for the 57 version of the RK to the KVK, is S&L, and this is certainly not a match to their type!!
One thing that stands out, is the pebbling on the body and arms of the cross, not only do they stand really proud but they are very sparse, many points without any
also the bleedover where the suspension ring joins the top arm looks quite crude?
The marking appear spurious, not sure if it is silver??
Are there any holes or pock marks along the edges of the body or arms, that may tell us if it is a cast or die struck piece???

Yes it looks terrible and super fake. It screams "throw me in the garbage". I love crap like this that shows up now n then!

In a great many ways. The only thing worth keeping from this is the loop. Very useful for displaying a genuine piece that has lost the loop, or a Souval which came without one.
