Very good and fair vendor, but 885 USD is roughly 750 EUR and that is too rich for me.

Not trying to be picky but the paint job is kind of sloppy.

I have 2 first core b frames and the paint is way better than this one.

            Tis true!!
Looks like it has had a 2nd coat applied after assembly, but it all looks factory done to me??
What I noticed from Mathijs' post is the big difference at the moment between the Euro and the Pound? In Euro terms, its quite expensive, but for us in Britain, I don't think it equates to too bad a price??

Currency differences can be tricky - seems a bad time to buy overseas for us EU'ers.

                Gents,

Over £50 we have to pay duty and 20% VAT on top, don't forget....

Is that case a standard type for 57's?
Has no inlay formed to the cross. Here's my example ...

Sorry for the dark pictures. I need to retake some of my collection again. These were snapped some time ago.

This seller is a good guy, and seems cheap even with the questionable case. I too have purchased some items for more $ when the exchange rate was much less in my favor and cost me more than I wanted to spend, but that's the way it goes.

I would want my case to match the KC for that kind of money, JMHO.

@ Darrel, your case seems to be for the Schickle RK, is it not?

                      Regards,
                      Nick

Nick, honestly I have no idea. I'm not a 57 guy ... all I know is someone told me the RK and Case were early models.

@ Darrell.....your case does look like one for a Deumer/ Schickle RK, the recess is a little too large for the S&L, so while it isn't a perfect match for the S&L, its actually a rarer and more valuable case!!!

Here's a quick pic of the RK on Ebay USA, early 1st pattern, with the eye not drilled out...............
