            I have been made aware that foreign medals would not be called 57'ers, so please excuse my knowledge of terms in this field. My post WWII medals should have been more appropriate.

                So...... as we don't believe this is a 57 period/ postwar piece, is it an earlier piece, as the hardware would suggest, or is it a copy, trying to be an earlier piece, as the finish would indicate????
