    Fallschirmjager (Luft) Abzeichen

    Hello,

yesterday it came to me. My first FJ badge

Looking at the catch and hingleblock I can say it's a later one, but what do you say about the pin ?? Pin looks a little bit earlier to me... but maybe I'm wrong?

I'd say it's a later pin, seems to be more broad on top. Still a nice badge!

I would agree Brig ol' buddy!! Looks like the last standard pin type they used!
The combination of pin type, the extra large flatter hingepin, coupled with rivet's, finish etc. should give the possibility of a fairly accurate date, comparison's would need to be done with other, later Para badges, or indeed any war or qualification badges of similar type/ period!!
        Get searching those old threads!!!!!!!!!!
