    KV Medal

    Hello my Friends,

I've just purchased this KVM from Michael.

He says it could be S&L - IMO indeed it is. But can you tell me something about period of that piece? I have no idea 'cause it seems to look a little different than yours that I've seen here so far (but maybe it's just the finish...).

    Also the mounting is interesting...

    Hi Patryk!!
    Nice and scarce KVM!!!
I am pretty sure it is an S&L made example, the finish with dots or specks in it, especially on the reverse, is typical for a later S&L!!
The very early versions are in a light bronze colour, the later ones have a darker bronze wash with the dots!!
Yours is a little darker than usual!
The pin is similar in style to that found fitted to some later EK2's. Ost's etc. but looking at this one, I would think that the pin was added by the owner?
    Anyway, a good S&L piece 70's/80's probably

Thanks Nigel, much info you've gave me now about it
Even if it is a leter one (what I supposed to be) it's still good to have it 'cause it's rarity

        Yes Patryk!
All the KVM's are hard to find, early or later!!
I hope one day we may find one by another maker, maybe Deumer!!

            Hi Patryk.
            Very nice KVM. Congratulations!
Popular during the TR, but then not so often seen!

            Best regards.

I'm sure you'll be able to Jeff, only a patient is needed. I was lucky yesterday.
