Yet another Legion Condor PAB !

Gentlemen, been able to add the Legion Condor PAB this time by Souval.
Again a second pattern type "Legion Condor " PAB, having Souvals typical thin pin/hinge assembly and stamped out "claw" style type catch.....
This badge is, as is the original , hollow backed, great detail on the skull and tank, notice that it differs from the St u L version in that the skull's nose is cut out, it is not voided on St u L 's version.
Most difficult to pick a favourite St u L or Souvals ? I like them both....see what you think, I will post some comparison images at the end of the thread........
    Prost ! Steve.

comparison images, St u L v Souval.....................although the Souval looks slightly bigger than the St u L award, they are infact the same size, a trick of the eye !
    Prost ! Steve.

Nice badge Steve, and a nice compare with the S&L version too!!
Great look to it, nice finish and detail, and interesting to see the similarities and differences with the S&L type!
I always liked this design, originals are mega rare, and there are endless fakes of the wartimers, to the point where many collectors have given up trying to work out good from bad!
At least we know enough about postwar makers and production to know what we are looking at here, I do wonder if any of these were ever bought by the handful of veterans who may have needed one, rather than being made for collectors???
I would love to see one being worn, postwar, at a vets re-union or similar!!!

I knew you would get this piece
            Good job

I was thinking to purchase it, but I thought to myself: do I really need it? Steve or Alex would be more happy to have it!
