    Marine Front Spange

    Hi guys,

Playing around while watching Argentina vs. Belguim.

I was looking at Patricks thread and noticed a difference between his two Marine Front Spanges. So, I looked at mine and wanted the experts opinion on one of them. I'm thinking this one is a deumer but I'm not 100% sure due to the top part of the pin. Can the experts confirm.

    Regards,
    Rudy

Here is the comparison to a very early St&L. You can notice the difference in the finish - esp. the reverse.

        Hi Rudy,

watching too that game and nearby having a look in the www.

It´s not a Deumer, it´s a Souval clasp. Typical pin system and quality by Souval. At the moment i don´t know if this is the early or later Souval hardware.

        Two great clasps

Agree with Rudiger, IMO a Souval clasp, that style of pin is found on his examples of this clasp, and the rough texture/finish of the piece is also typical for Souval!!
          Both nice though!!!!

Thanks guys. I should have thought of Souval.

Mathijs, nothing worse than England taking the first flight out of Brazil. You have no worries my friend. Belguim played extremely well in this cup.

                  Regards,
                  Rudy

This has nothing to do with what ever you guys are talking about, but I have two S&L Marine Front Spanges. Don't know their age but one has an open hinge block & the other a closed hinge block. Both have the same type pin Tom
