Hi Rudy,
Five more excellent groups!! It is nice to see several additional groups based upon the smaller (non regulation) TR style ribbons. The clasp devices certainly cover a lot of "space" on the ribbon bars of this size. The RKT provenance grouping......INCREDIBLE...
@All: In a little over a week I think you would agree we have seen some amazing ribbon bar groups!
Hopefully, this thread still has more "legs" and additional groupings will be posted!
Best,
Jeff

Hi All,
For this weekend, I am showing a 57er Heer Infantry Ribbon Bar grouping. Nothing too special, however a nice little group representing service on the Ost Front during the Winterschlacht of '41-'42. The medal ribbons are all TR era (no glow) and that presented with the EKII is of the lesser found (orange-red) type. The badges have solid hinge blocks. The Ost medal is interesting to me as it has a "golden" tone, while most are silver.
Best,

@Pierce - Which FJ bar? And what is the name?

I am referring to this ribbon bar and group. I assume the medals have been added later.

Next up is my pride and joy - Mahlke group. If only I can find the rest of his 57 items. This did not come with the RK. I added that and I heard from other collectors that he had a Schickle RK which I was able to include. Another problem is a gold long range day fighter clasp came with the group but the ribbon bar indicates a gold air to ground support clasp. I don't have a gold air to ground support clasp so I will just show what came with the group.

That's correct. I just put together my medals I had for this bar. I only got the ribbon bar from Mike I believe.
What is the name?

By the way, the name is Oberst Bernhardt Muller! This bar was with me before I sold it on to Mike a few years back. I am glad to see it remains within the community.

Gentlemen, I hope this O.K. posting here, there is a 57er connection ..........
A Bundeswehr ribbon bar and full sized awards, BW Ehrenzeichen (Honour Cross) in Gold (20 years service), Silver (10 years service), DSB sports badge in Gold and DLRG life saving award in Silver............notice the Silver honour cross is two piece Deumer made cross, around 1980 production, Deumer qaulity even at this late stage ! The Gold is later St u L piece, as are both other awards, but they hark from before 1968, the 57er connection......notice the rear hardware, closed hinge assemblies and tapered pins.
Prost ! Steve.
