I don't have any late WB's to compare this, or the Gold version to!!
I think Steve may have, and can hopefully help here!
At first glance both Silver and Gold WB's look like very late S&L pieces, but if they come from the same source as some of your other badges Andrew, there has to be a chance these could also be cast?
Exact size and weight should tell more, but as I said, I don't have late WB's to weigh or measure, so theres not much more I can say on these!

        Nigel,

Thanks for your comments. This is a new purchase, nothing to do to with the ones before. The room, I usually take the photos, has yellow walls, all the photos show the item a bit more yellowish..... the only thing I can do against it, tp put a lamp very close to the items but in this case the shiny ones look very odd on the photos....

The gold one is a mint example, never worn for sure, this one shows some cracks. If you take a photo of any item made from Neusilber, the strong light shows the surface a but rough and uneven.

I have to invest a few hundreds to a professional camera for sure.

          Hi Andrew!
If we ever get some decent sunlight, it would be great to see these
Gold & Silver WB's in natural light, I think that would give us a true picture of what the finish looks like!
I mainly collect medals not so much badges, and not later ones, so its a struggle for me on some of these later style pieces, that why I really hope that guys with pieces in their collection can compare and give us their thoughts!!!

            Wound badges...

I have a similarly constructed Gold Wound Badge...will get some pics, measurements and weights (have a good scale...needed one when I collected Third Reich)....and will post it all when I get a minute or two..

              Hello

IMO this is a late S&L made woundbadge.
To me this doesn't look like it is casted.

              Best regards
