Hello. Thank you guys for nice words.!
Nigel. Hinge case is made of tape.
I know the old threads of theory concerning the probable manufacturer - Deschler / Deumer. Do you have reached some new findings on this topic?

    Best regards.

      Hi Maciej!
Thanks for the photo, and info on the hinge, I believe the full halbetui type like yours to be the earliest!!
The DK itself, is in my opinion a Deumer!!
The quality of these pieces shouts Deumer, while the Deschler type is of lesser quality, and the catch on the Deschler is a 100% match to that found on Deschler's EK1 & KVK1!!
      So for me.......Deumer!!!!!!!!

The case also looks like it has a pin hole in the front, where a straight pin fitted to hold the inner tray in place!!!

You just need an old rusty straight pin, with a slightly rounded head, about 1cm long, that would finish it off perfectly!!!

The inner tray holds very much! It's hard to bring it!
It may have done a hole and not rigged? For sure .... we will never know the true answer?!

                Hi Maciej,

That is a really nice very early DKiG. Love the wide pin and rivits on that one. Congrats on grabbing that this year. Glad to see Karsten's item's are being enjoyed by a lot of people.

                Regards,
                Rudy

                  Very well photographed !
                  my congratulations
