    Wishlist For 2014

    Hi Guys!
    We have had a look back at some of our favorite buys of this past year, but what would we REALLY like to add to our collections in 2014??
    What are the pieces that top your wanted list???
    Its ok if there are several!!!!!
    It should be really interesting to see what we want, might even be able to help each other out too!!!
    So... what are you looking for???????

    Hi chaps,

    Also next year I'm aiming to obtain an 1957 Schickle bottom marked "835".
    However, no luck in finding in 2013 - better luck then in 2014 .

    Oh yeah, and maybe also one of these funky looking K&Q (?) 1957 KC's .

        As always, i'll be on the lookout for EK variants, and medalbars with rarer or foreign medals on them.
        But for the coming year, I am going to try and add all the 57 medals I am missing, Police, RAD, Olympic, etc

          In 2014 I am going to limit myself to a nice early 57er RK. I really don't have the cash for a lot of things so I'll put it all into this, an early S&L RK to go with the group. I am starting the saving now.

            Very early St&l's numbered PAB's, GAB's. Very early ST&l's S Boot and Auxiliary Cruiser Badges. And last but not least any Deumers or Assmans that I don't have.

            Oh yeah - the rest of Helmut Mahlke's 57 items that are out there.

            2014 will be very tight for me with 2 kids in college. So, I will have to be very particular.

              As i have my first purchase for 2014 still safe i do not know what´s more missing in my collection

                Hi All,

                I wish everyone a safe and healthy 2014 and good luck in finding that elusive '57 item that you are chasing!

                For me, as a Luftwaffe collector, I will focus all of my efforts on LW items in both the '57 and TR eras.

                My '57 wish list includes a Schlachtflieger (Air-to-Ground Support) clasp in the early S&L style in either bronze, silver, or gold. An early to very early '57 S&L PO is also on the list.

                If anyone is able to assist, please drop me a PM. I will be on the look out for '57 items that others need so I can alert you.

                  I am so happy with 2013 so that I don´t have any wishes for 2014.
                  For sure new pieces will come to my collection but I don´t search for something special right now.

                      A nice, early set of first and second class '57 EK spangen and I would be a happy man.

                      I hope you all have a healthy and happy 2014 and I look forward to seeing and reading about all of your future acquisitions.

                          I suppose for 2014 I would like to find a 57er postwar paper package from S&L as well as a set of 57er Polizei Long Service awards. Or... perhaps a medal bar with a Police Long Service award on it.

                          However, I do remember the old saying, "If wishes were horses, beggars would ride" so we will see what happens next year. Good luck to everyone that their wishes may come true. My thanks for being helpful and friendly to a relatively newby to the 57er world.

                            You never know whats going to turn up or when! If theres a particular piece you are looking for, it could take a long time, especially if its a rarer one, but then again, one could turn up tomorrow!!
                            All I would say, is check all the usual sites as often as you can, and if the missing piece turns up.......grab it!!!

                              I wish that I will be able to participate more on the forum next year.
                              I also wish Nigel to slow down in his ebay hunt for medalbars next year!

                              By the way Nigel...how much does Royal mail pay you, it must be a h*ll of a lot more than Swedish postal service pay me?!
