Our friend Mr. Cross has added a few more 57ers on his update. There has been a lot of them lately (the unsold ones will be in his 1957 section). Always expensive but interesting to see what's being offered.

(Actually it's a bit confusing as he spreads things around the site. There are a couple of items in his Iron Cross section, and one in Court Mounted awards)Last edited by reichenberg; 11-06-2013, 02:01 PM.

He's been around for a very long time, one of the original online UK militaria dealers. Updated every Wednesday like clockwork and lots of good stuff (and some known fakes) his prices have always been high. I always check out his update as you never know what's going to show up, and I have purchased items from him in the past. But if you should be a novice collector just be VERY CAREFUL.

The KVK RK looks pretty good to me!
I actually think the price isn't too bad, when you consider the rarity, in early form, much rarer than a 1st pattern RK, maybe rarer than a Schickle/ Deumer etc.
Its more about collectability or desirability, the RK to the EK always commands a high price, because it the piece most collectors want, the KVK in all its classes has always been an underestimated award IMO, wartime and 57er!

I think Nigel's right about the KVK RK. If it's as described then the price is not too bad. It's just that all UK dealers prices are high, and our friend J.C. has always been at the top end price wise. Anyway, it sold very quickly as most of his 57ers do. I thought there were a lot more listed around his site than there actually are so someone's buying them up.
