Great group of uniforms, jacket etc. and to a guy well known to a lot of 57 collectors!!
Pieces with provenance are always nice, especially so when they belong to a high ranking and famous guy as this!
I think the ribbonbar has to be one of the nicest I've seen, the quality of the devices is absolutely TOP!! Really outstanding!!
I hope one day, if and when the family is ready to part with them, you can add his medals and awards to this group, and they will all be back together again!!!
    Congrats!!!!!!!!

Oh man ...... Rudy ....... that is a fantastic group from a very brave man

What an absolute impressive ribbon bar, combined with the tunic

You did very well to grab and secure that and let´s hope you can get more from that man. I have his story in one of my books, have to read that again. Maybe i can can tell you something new about him. But normally the vita of these heroes is completely to find in the www, same as with the typical pics.

I just read that the whole group has been split into wartime and postwar (57ers) pieces. maybe there´s a chance to add some pics from his wartime group. Did you found anything about his wartime pieces?

The BVK matches to the date of the award, so an absolute doubtless piece, too

Buddy, can´t wait to see pics of your war room, when finished. This group will be for sure one of your favourites next to Mahlke

      Absolutely great, Rudy ........ absolutely

        Thanks Nigel and Rudiger.

Just heard some great news that will be a great addition to this group if it happens. I will be able to grab a few more pieces.

So, I will be selling a RK from S&L from around 1960 - 1st pattern core/C-Frame/marked 800 and is magnetic- with etui. Anyone interested before I place on e-stand can PM me.

        Regards,
        Rudy
