Is this piece die struck or cast? The "O" in that position is indicative of the wartime reverse die, and the obverse Oakleaves lack (at least) the major flaw on the right side seen in postwar pieces, but the "indent" at the bottom of the central vein is totally missing, which suggests a casting to me.

Mystery Oaks
I have a set of Oaks and swords like the Mystery Oaks in this thread. After weeks of looking at them I noticed they are similar to my hollow stamped Souval Oaks. I looked closer and found they are actually two totally different dies. The center leaf vein on my stamped oaks doesn't touch the bottom of the leaf. Additionally, the center vein on the mystery oak does touch the bottom of the leaf. The detail on the stamped oaks is much sharper though. Construction and finish of the mystery oaks is identical to my early S&L oaks although the dies are different. Could there be a Souval/S&L collaboration early post war?
