Sorry Brian, but IMO these oaks matches not to any own oaks.

No S&L design and not the design that is thought to be done by Deumer

      Hi Brien!!
Postwar Oaks can be really confusing, as all are, stictly speaking, "copies" of the wartime originals, but, having said that, some are accepted by collectors, while others are not!!
Some of the makers of 57ers, made new Oaks for the vets to wear alongside their 57 RK's, it is these sets, especially the earlier versions, that are sought after by collectors, S&L were the main makers we know of, but its thought that Deumer probably also made them, and Souval had their own style of Oaks which are sometimes found in 57er vets groupings!!
So, as Rudiger said, your Oaks dont match to any of the known and accepted 57 era types!!
There may be other makers we dont yet know about, but the majority of postwar Oaks, are simply fakes, pretending to be wartime originals!!

This EL looks IMO much better!
Not the best pictures to see the exact details, but IMO a typical postwar S&L.

Not much to add to what Matthias said!!!
If you can show us a closer view, especially of the obverse, that would be great, but from what we can see i think they are fine, maybe not the earliest, but still S&L and good i think!!

Agreed, most likely very nice S&L oaks...maybe mid period from early 70s.

Looks not casted but die struck

The guys got it right as usual. If you can take better photos of the second set, that would be good.

                    better pics

I'll try, but I only have a 4 megapixel camera. I used a magnifying glass for the first set and it wasn't easy.
