    Sepp, in that last image, they are clearly showing a very late RK and Oaks from St u L and commenting on how poor they are to their WW2 counterparts......a pity they have not seen the Schickle/Deumer set !
    Where is that image from ?

      Hi Steve, the picture comes from "The Iron Cross of 1939", by Gordon Williamson, 1st Edition 2002.

      Yes, I also felt a bit of disappointed for those oaks.

          Yes, I was disappointed in the 57 chapter also....could have been much more detailed.....oh well.

            The very first edition of the book (1985) has a bit more detailed 57 chapter.

                    General Guillermo Quintana Lacaci

                    Lacaci was killed in 1984 by ETA members in Spain. He was a veteran of the Russian front.
