    Thanks gents.

Rudy, I've had this one since the summer 2012.

    Best regards

Oh boy. What a drain on my brain! There was a ribbon bar that must have looked almost like that on e-bay a few weeks ago. So much for my memory - sorry Pierce.

      Regards,
      Rudy

        Hi Rudy

I think I know the ribbon bar you are referring to. I missed that one also as I was not at my computer!

        Hopefully there will be others!

        Best regards
        Pierce

The more correct name would be Eastern front badge for members of Slovak Rapid Division.

You´re welcome, Pierce. I am always very pleased to see Slovak ww2 awards. These are very rare - especially on ribbon bars - as there were only two Slovak divisions at Eastern Front - Rýchla divízia (Rapid division) and Zaisťovacia divízia (Back-up division). Together with LSSAH, they seized Rostov na Donu in 41/42 campaign.

And of course, Slovak veterans of ww2 were not allowed to wear their ww2 awards in communist Czechoslovakia. There was no 57 ausfuhrung issued for them.
