                    Hi Alex!!
                    Nice Spanish Crosses!!!!!!!!!
Interesting to see the differences, The Silver has the Eagles soldered to the arms as you said, this would make for a little more work, something we would associate with earlier pieces, but its the Gold one that has the cutout swastika's, again we might expect that to be on the earlier pieces??
But, judging by the hardware, the tapering pin on the Silver, is earlier, than the next style of pin that is on the Gold, on S&L pieces, that style immediately follows the tapring type! And, as is now pretty much beyond doubt, Souval bought their hardware from S&L, from the late 50's/early 60's period onwards!!!
So, like you, I would say the Silver is slightly earlier!!
                    Thanks for Showing!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for showing your collection of Souval Spanish Crosses too. Seems that the only Spanish Cross with Swords missing in this thread is the golden version with diamonds.
In Souval's version white saphires were used by jewelers instead of diamonds. A truly special piece.
