Some crazy rare badges in any grade!

To have all three? Wow! A feat only Luud could pull off! Seriously, who else could possibly have one very early, let alone all three??

Very consistent use of the large "O." The tool marks are also quite interesting. I can't explain their existence. Perhaps vice jaw marks where the piece was held while the hardware was soldered in place. All speculation of course.

Some of the most amazing pics too! I've gotta get a new camera!

    Nice ones Luud!

Because of the rarity of these badges and the excellent pictorial representation given of them, I've added this thread to our Links to Comparison and Reference Threads section.

        Thanks guys.

If anyone else has one, especially from the mid & late period, please post them.
It would be interesting if they have the same marks.

Oops, how could i overlook this great thread

Great pieces, Luud. As ususal the very rare pieces come out of the netherlands

Now to the marks you mentioned.

In my very young years i was casting nice tin soldiers and after removing the gate? i had such marks on the soldier. After filing them away all looked well.
The marks on the ballon looks the same as on my soldiers back then.

Can it be that the balloon observers are casted?
