    Minesweeper Badge

    Hello all,

Here is a very nice minesweeper badge that I was very fortunate to obtain thanks again to Luud. You were right - they do come up once in a while. I'm happy to check this one off my Kreigsmarine list. Now, who has a very early Schnellboot, Auxilllary Cruiser or Fleet War Badge? Come on now, it's not like they are rare!!!!!!
Anyway, kidding aside... I hope you enjoy this one.
    Regards
    Rudy

That's a very nice and very early Mine Sweeper Rudy! Congrats my friend!

I'm not a KM guy, but I can appreciate beauty, craftsmanship and historical significance and this badge is a glowing example of all three!

Do you have micrometers with which you could measure the diameter of the pin?

Great to hear Luud was of help to you! I can't tell you how many times he's helped me and I know he's helped many others here as well! Great guy!

I agree that your photography skills have improved dramatically! They couldn't go anywhere but up buddy!

Thanks for sharing your new treasure! It's a keeper!

What would we do without Luud?

Wonderful example of a very early minesweeper by S&L, Rudy

As to your other KM lookings........if i see one of these very early beauties i only would link you to the HSF as the other 2 are still missing here in VERY early version

                    Hi Rudy,

Congrats on a very nice find, great condition!! Looks like a typical S&L construction as well.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

You got yourself a very nice minesweeper.

I also saw the Deumer WB, it looks much better as the sellers pictures with all those burnished hightlights
