My KC's and DK's go into a wood / glass display cabinet ( no pix on file right now ) .... larger groups go into these display boxes now .

        Hi Tom!!
I dont really have anything "on display" as such, i have an old victorian collectors cabinet, the ones with glass top drawers, they used to keep butterflies and such in!!
All my medalbars and most of my loose medals are in there, the cased stuff is just plied up on top!!!
Not very impressive i'm afraid, but i can get my hands on everything quickly!!!
        (well, thats my excuse anyway)
Most of the guys have storming displays, hopefully they'll show them again??

Absolutely AWESOME displays fellows! Top shelf stuff all the way!

Here are some recent pics of my very humble, yet focused FJ displays. Case #2 with the cards and pics is still a work in progress. You'll see a few "holes." I need a nice and rare Para badge, oh, that's right! I have one on the way! And, then I need a nice 2nd Pattern RK to top it off.

Yes, the large medal bar in case #1 is a put together and there are some TR pieces mixed in.

                  Hi Tom,

Most of the shadow box type of displays have a foam backing under the decorative material. The pressure of the glass pressing the pieces into the foam holds them quite securely in place.

Thanks much for starting this thread! What an awesome display of fine collections it's turned up!

                    WOW!! What great displays guys.

I am afraid my disaplay is not as grandeous as some of the stunning "museums quality" displays posted above...just don't have the space at the moment.

Pierce the ek set is quite a nice idea i think i might use that and probably a shadow box or 2

Hi Tom, I order all my display supplies ( including the plastic medal holders ) from these guys ( and I'm very pleased with service and speed of delivery ) :

                          http://www.militaria24.de/index.php

Just now, I've ordered a couple of this type ... http://www.militaria24.de/kassetten-...eibe/index.php

Seems these are more flexible for keeping badges compared to the wooden cases .

I would be along the lines of Nigel, but just put mine in Riker cases and add felt for the backing. They look good and easy to put away.

I was hoping that Mathijs would post his RK collection...
