Hello gentlemen,
Was lucky enough to purchase the below group for more then fair price.
I really went for the 1957 EK, pictures and the Bundeswehr KM Wehrpass.
Big bonus now I learned the wartime Minesweeper is 100% original .
Have to say, this little lot give us an overview of the life of Mr. Bernhard Hinst.
A wartime Minesweeper badge and pictures, a 1957 EK1, and Bundeswehr documents & insignia.
Unfortunately, not much is known on his wartime efforts, but he did receive the EK2 + EK1 + Minesweeper ( as indicated in the WP ).
Seems he went on an had a good career within the Bundeswehr, showing various interesting entries in the WP.
Mr. Hinst retired 31/03/1970 as Fregattenkapitän ... no further info was found on him.
Nevertheless, I do hope you can enjoy this small but wonderful group.
